This book 99 Percent Mine took a way longer time than usual. I am totally blaming the author, Sally Throne. The disappointment is real Ya’ll. This one just wasn’t for me.

Anyway, for you all let me tell you this book is full of cheesy romance. The story revolves around a girl Darcey Barett along with her twin brother Jamie Barett. Both have shared Tom Valeska – Childhood friend their whole lives.

Tom is Jamie’s best friend but for Darcy he’s just the world perfect man. Twins inherited a cottage from their late Grandmother Loretta. Along with the instructions to renovate the cottage first before putting it on the market.

Darcy was already staying at the cottage she didn’t know that his brother Jamie hired their childhood friend Tom Valeska for the renovation job. When she saw Tom after many years instantly decided to stay in the cottage to help Tom in the renovation with her passport out of reach.

She didn’t expect the possibility of second chance with Tom. The only bad thing Tom was already engaged to another woman and Jamie would be furious with her if she did anything to mess it up.
