The novel “Happy Endings” revolves around the story of two young women, first was former First Lady Sadie Grey who has been devastated by tragedy of her husband’s death. Alone, lost in the political whirl, she is beautiful and much admired by everyone.

Second was Allison Sterling who is dynamic, sexy and famous reporter for the nation’s most powerful newspaper. She’s been everywhere, seen everything, beaten men at their own game. But now she desires for another kind of fulfillment: motherhood.

What happens when these two extraordinary women cross paths with two other men. One is dashing journalist Des Shaw and other one is AIDS researcher Michael Lanzer. This is the novel of two women who must cope with the pain of unexpected change and the challenges of love.

Happy Endings novel was very old one which I found from my father’s book library (clearly the picture is a proof). And yes, I read it just to fulfill my curiosity. Novel was entertaining and full of suspense honestly. This story was basically behind the scenes of power, passion, journalism and politics in Washington DC. A Good read overall.
